Murdock Perry Goodman. 76, of Linden died Sunday, Feb. 27 at Marengo Nursing Home in Linden. He was born April 16, 1934 in Thomasville. He was a retired power house worker and member of the Forest Hill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Susana Nelson Goodman of Linden, son Perry (Donna) Goodman of Houston, Texas, daughter Darlene (Eddie) Edwards of Providence, brothers Roy Goodman of Miami, Fla. and LaVerne Goodman of Cleveland, Tenn., sister Ethel Celaya of Houston, Texas and grandchildren Dustin Edwards of Providence, Casey Edwards of Providence, Cody Goodman of Houston, Texas and Colton Goodman of Houston, Texas.

Funeral services were held at Providence Baptist Church on Thursday, March 3 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Warren Huggins officiating. Burial was at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Gallion. Active Pallbearers were Cody Goodman, Dustin Edwards, Eddie Edwards, Mitch Barkley, Royce Nelson and Bobby Joe Nelson. Condolences may be offered at www.obryantchapelfh.com.
