Ms. Rachel Carr of Demopolis, Al. Ms. Rachel Carr passed recently at the Baptist Princeton Medical Center Birmingham, Alabama. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 12 noon at the Gilfield Bapt. Church, Gallion, AL. Rev. Moses Jones, Pastor. Rev. Lacornie Harris officiated. Interment followed in the Gilfield Church, Old Springhill, Alabama . Larkin and Scott Funeral Home entrusted with all arrangements. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, a loving and devoted daughter, Rachel King (Anthony Wagner) of Demopolis, Alabama. Two sisters, Eloise (Minister Willie L. ) Lawson of Gallion, Alabama and Willie Mae Hunter of Chambergs, Pennsylvania. Five grandchildren, Cleo Brown of Cresson, PA., Lawrence (Kanoshia) Watts of Birmingham, AL., Eric (Erica Mae) King, Derrick King and Stevonnia Bryant, all of Demopolis, Alabama; thirteen (13) great grandchildren, three (3) great, great grandchildren; one devoted niece, Margaret Fisher of Old Springhill, Alabama. A host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
