Glyn Edward Trotman

Glyn Edward Trotman, 51, a heating and cooling technician of Foley, died Saturday, Sept. 10 at The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn. He was born Nov. 6, 1959 in Demopolis. He was a member of the Marengo County Fire and Rescue Squad and the Foley Volunteer Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife, Caryl Bryant Trotman of Foley, mother Faye H. Anton of Linden, son Maxwell G. Trotman of Somers Point, N.J., step sons Joshua (Grisselle) Bryant of Lacey, Wash. and Jacob Bagby of Foley, step daughter Courtney Bagby of Foley, sister Margaret (Bill) Thomas of Demopolis, step grandchild Kobe Bryant, nephew Andrew (Celia) Thomas of Gallion and great niece Effie Grace Thomas.

Funeral services were held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Marc Brewer officiating. Burial was at Linden Memorial Park in Linden. Active Pallbearers were Bill Thomas, Andrew Thomas, Roger Burge, Larry Burge, A.D. “Buddy” Simpson, Joshua Bryant, Justin Borg and Troy McPherson.

Alternate Pallbearers were Alex Brame, Billy Palmer, Mike Barnwell, Gary Malone and Len Pope.
