Mary Margaret Watson Jones, 82, of Marion, died Nov. 13 at Southland Nursing Home in Marion. Born July 19, 1929 at Webster County, Miss. to the late James Talmadge and Mary Lee Hood Watson, she was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Breckenridge Musgrove Jones.

She is survived her daughters Margaret Ann Jones (Tom) Alsabrook of Brent and Mary Charles Jones (Mike) Burnette of Thorsby, sons Breckenridge Musgrove (Theresa) Jones Jr. of Shelby and Thomas Alan (Violet) Jones of Marion, sister Pauline Hood Heston of Virginia, grandchildren Jeff Jones, Nick Jones, Scott Alsabrook, Jared Burnette, Sarah Margaret Alsobrook, Jenny Burnette, Christopher JOnes and Heather Holliman and great grandchildren Cole Jones, Chase Holliman, Brody Holliman and Eli Holiamn.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. at Siloam Baptist Church with Rev. John Nicholson officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing.

Burial followed in Marion Cemetery.

Pallbearers included Jeff Jones, Nick Jones, Scott Alsabrook, Jared Burnette, Dudley Barton and Mason Richardson.
