Willie Mae Dickson, 69, of Gallion, died Thursday, Aug. 30 at Generations of Vernon.

She was born April 28, 1943, in Linden. She was a former nurse and a member of the Providence Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Aubrey Donald Dickson of Gallion; her son, Donald Boyd Dickson of Gallion; her daughter, Savanna Joy Dickson of Gallion; two sisters, Mary Boozer of Gallion and Voncile Nichols of Opelika; and four brothers, Pete Bedsole of Beaver Creek, Glenn Bedsole of Ft. Walton, Fla., Willard Bedsole of Forkland and Bobby Bedsole of Gallion.

Funeral services were held at Providence Baptist Church on Sunday, Sept. 2 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Warren Huggins officiating. Burial was at Linden Memorial Park in Linden.

Active pallbearers were Dick Porter, Gene Sammons, Winston Cobb, George Overstreet, Byron Johnston and Billy Bedsole.
