DPD collects unused prescriptions

The Demopolis Police Department collected 23.40 pounds of unused prescription drugs during the National Drug Take Back on Sept. 29.

Demopolis Police Chief Tommie Reese thanks the community for their support in getting these drugs out of the homes before they reach the streets or get in the hands of a child.

Officers assisting during the Drug Take Back were: Sgt. Monica Oliver, Detective Zack Fluker and Administrative Assistant Shelia Rodgers.
