Monica Renee Scott, 35, of Demopolis passed on Sunday Jan. 20, 2013, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday Jan. 26 at St. Paul Baptist Church at 1 p.m., with the Rev. DeAyrus Smith officiating. Her remains will lie-in-state beginning at noon on Saturday. Burial will follow in the Small Memorial Cemetery of Jefferson with Phillip White’s Julia L. White Funeral Home of Uniontown directing.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church. The family asks that visitors honor Monica by wearing University of Alabama gear to the family hour at St.Paul.
