William Reeder Howard, 82, of Livingston, died Wednesday, Sept. 25 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demopolis.

He was born Aug. 1, 1931, in Dancy to Jesse and Grace Olive Howard. He worked in maintenance at Gulf States Paper.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Grace Olive Howard; sister, Doris Howard Farmer; brother, Jesse Gray Howard Jr.; and great-grandson, Harrison McCraney.

He is survived by his wife, Annette Saelens Howard; sister, Linda Howard D’Avino of Panama City, Fla.; son, Paul Andrew (Terri Lynn) Howard of Scooba, Miss.; daughter, Anne Marie Howard (Keith) McCraney of Meridian, Miss.; grandchildren, Marshall (Avery) McCraney of Pascagoula, Miss., Rachel (Luciano) Perez of Meridian; Anna McCraney of Meridian, Paul (Joanna) McCraney of Meridian, Joy McCraney of Meridian and Luci McCraney of Meridian; and great-grandchildren, Ana McCraney, Taylor McCraney, Natalie Perez and Elijah McCraney.

A memorial service will he held Thursday, Oct. 3 from 5-7 p.m. at Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel.
