The Marengo Academy girls and boys varsity basketball teams will play in the AISA Final Four on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

The boys earned their spot with a 58-55 win over Cornerstone Christian this week. The girls reached the Final Four for the second consecutive year with a 52-21 win over Cornerstone.

The girls will play Wednesday at 9 a.m. and the boys will play Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Huntingdon College in Montgomery.

The Marengo High School Lady Panthers earned a spot in the sub-regionals with a 60-42 win over McIntosh on Thursday. They will face St. Luke’s for the area title Saturday night.

Sweet Water’s girls team ended their season Thursday with a 59-39 loss to Southern Choctaw.

Marengo High’s boys were eliminated Tuesday with a loss to Blacksher.
