Hazel Etress Henderson, 95, of Linden, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 30 in Linden.

She was born Feb. 20, 1919, in Shelby County to the late James Theodore and Mollie B. Guy Etress.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Theodore and Mollie B. Guy Etress; husband, Moxie L. Henderson; and sister, Ruby Looney.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia H. (Joseph) McLendon of Panama City, Fla., and Linda Henderson and her partner Phil Lingelbach of Coolidge, Ariz.; son, Moxie Lee (Carolyn) Henderson of Linden; sister, Lannis Gilliland Rutledge of Grand Bay; three grandchildren, Mike (Annetta) Henderson, Melanie M. (Richard) Baker and Dawn H. (Randy) Thomley; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Friday, Oct. 3 at 11 a.m. at Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Randy Creel officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.
