Joseph L. Kizziah

Joseph L. Kizziah, 38, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 3, 2017, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Joseph was born August 22, 1978, in Birmingham. He was a 1997 graduate of Demopolis High School and moved to New Orleans in 2000 to pursue life as a full time servant to God and the church. He obtained his master’s degree in theological studies in 2013 from Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans.
Joseph spent his time in service to the church, reading, and encouraging friends and family.
He is survived by his mother, Vicki Price; step-father, Richard (Rhonda) Price; and two sisters, Rachel (Joseph) Pearson, and Leah (Tyler) Wrensted.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Joseph touched are invited to St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Demopolis for a memorial mass in his honor at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 17. A light reception will follow in the parish hall to reminisce and support one another in Joseph’s sudden passing.
