Fred Hart Speed, 72, of Dumas, Arkansas passed away July 8, 2017 at Delta Memorial Hospital. 

Mr. Speed was born Sept. 20, 1944 in Demopolis to Morris and Martha Rushing Speed. He was Methodist and a Veteran in the Air Force.  He was employed by Potlatch Paper Mill for several years.

His parents, three brothers, and seven sisters preceded him death.

Survivors are his wife, JoAnne Speed of Dumas; one son, Preston Speed of Dumas; and one sister, Cecile Chiles of Demopolis. 

There will be a private family service at a later date.
