Betty Joe Craig, 78, of Linden, Alabama.  Betty passed away after an extended illness on August 26, 2022.  She was born in Demopolis, Alabama on July 24, 1944.

Betty Joe was preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy Dixon Crosby. Betty Joe is survived by her sons, Lee Dixon (Patti) of Linden, and Paul Dixon (Linda) of Dallas, Texas, grandchildren, Alan Foley (Heather), Andrew Dixon (Penny), Ashley Dixon McCarter (Chris), Damon Dixon, her great grandchildren, niece and nephews.

Betty enjoyed spending time outdoors watching her birds, especially her hummers and gardening.

A small celebration of life was held at Shiloh Cemetery on Sunday Sept 11, 2022 at 1pm. The family wishes to thank the nurses and aides of Comfort Care Hospice for the care received with the utmost compassion and respect. There are truly no words to express how thankful we are for the care that was given to our mother and friend.  Memorials in Betty’s honor may be made to the donor’s favorite charity or Comfort Care Hospice of Demopolis.
