West Alabama under flood advisory

The National Weather Service has issued an urban and small stream flood advisory for northeastern Marengo County, including the city of Demopolis; western Perry County; southern Greene County, including the city of Eutaw; Hale County including the city of Greensboro; and central Sumter County, including the cities of York and Livingston.

This advisory lasts until 11:45 a.m.

A very slow-moving cluster of thunderstorms have already brought two to three inches of rain in a short period of time, and there is the potential for one to three more inches this morning.
