The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) will sponsor a meeting later this month for veterans seeking answers to benefit questions. The meeting will be held Aug. 23 at the downtown Demopolis Public Library from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The DAV office out of Mobile will bring in a National Service Office to educate and assist veterans in filing claims.

Veterans who attend that day should bring a VA claim number, Social Security number and any other important information.
