Linden High School is holding its homecoming this week.

The game Friday night will be against A.L. Johnson at 7 p.m. at Linden Athletic Field.

On Thursday night at 6 p.m. at the LHS gymnasium, the school will host the Homecoming Coronation Ceremony, where the queens, kings and members of the royal courts from Linden Elementary School, George P. Austin Middle School and Linden High School will be introduced. Mr. and Mrs. LHS will be introduced at the coronation.

The 2012 homecoming parade will take place on Linden’s Main Street on Friday at 1 p.m.

John Essex High School is holding its homecoming festivities this week too.

The festivities will all lead into Friday night’s game against Blacksher.

On Wednesday, John Essex will hold its powderpuff game and step show. At 6 p.m., there will be a bonfire and coronation. On Thursday, there will be a student versus staff volleyball game, and on Friday, there will be a pep rally.
