The Community Action Agency of South Alabama will be sponsoring a Senior and Veteran’s Awareness/Energy Counseling Day for senior citizens, 60 years of age and over, as well as veterans of all ages on June 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Marengo County Business Development Center (old National Guard Armory), located at 2400 E. Coates Ave. in Linden.
During the event, seniors and veterans will be provided information of services such as energy counseling, nutrition, transportation, and health and safety issues. Participants will also have an opportunity to win door prizes.
