Children invited to ‘Easter at the Gazebo’
Children aged 3-10 can take pictures with the Easter Bunny, hunt for eggs with prizes inside and more at Easter at the Gazebo in downtown Linden from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 31. Kids can also enjoy story time, train rides, face painting and inflatables.
“It’s a great family event to get out and enjoy being in the community,” Bruce Ward, events coordinator, said.
Pictures with the Easter Bunny will be taken from 10-11 a.m. at the gazebo. Parents should bring their own cameras. At 11 a.m., children can gather at the steps of the gazebo for Easter-related stories.
After story time, kids will get instructions for the Easter egg hunt which will take place at Linden Elementary School.
Parents can enjoy the craft and food vendors available and music, as well.
“I hope everyone comes out, and they have fun. Craft vendors are welcome. It’s a great way for church organizations and family organization to get their name out with all the families around. It’s a great community event,” Ward said.
Easter at the Gazebo is sponsored by the Linden Ministerial Association and the City of Linden.
