The Linden Patriots went on the road to play Blacksher, and came away with a 58-0 victory.

Marquise Shelton led the Patriots with three rushes for 125 yards and three touchdowns. Jamal Lewis added two touchdowns on five carries for 102 yards.

The Patriots jumped out to a 27-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, adding seven more in the second and 12 in both the third and fourth quarters.

On the ground, Linden gained 348 yards to Blacksher’s 109. The Patriots added 70 yards in the air from three completions on five attempts.

The Patriots move to 2-0 on the season and 1-0 in the region.
