The Patriots (3-0) go on the road in week four to take on the McIntosh Demons (2-1).
Coach Andro Williams feels like his team has to stay even-keeled and not get complacent with the wins they are starting to pile up.
“We can’t get complacent because we still have a lot of improvements to make,” he said. “We have to improve in all phases because if one unit messes up, it affects all the others, too.”
Williams felt like his team played well, but made too many mental mistakes in their 34-14 victory over St. Luke’s last week.
“We have to do better at playing smart football because a few times last week that we didn’t make smart decisions,” Williams said. “We had three big plays called back because of block in the back penalties, and we have to do a better job of that.”
The Demons are coming off of a 32-12 win over Blacksher last week.
