The Linden Patriots (9-0, 7-0) host the Southern Choctaw Indians (6-3, 4-3) on Thursday night. The game was moved back to Thursday because Marengo Academy will host a round one playoff game Friday night.

The Patriots clinched a No. 1 seed in the playoffs and the region championship with their undefeated record. The Patriots have not been in a close game all season, as their smallest margin of victory is 20 points.

“We’re just going to keep doing what we’ve been doing,” head coach Andro Williams said. “They area good team coming in here and we are going to treat it like it’s a playoff game.”

The Patriots will face Kinston in the first round of the playoffs next week.
