Marengo Academy ends ACA bid for undefeated season

Hayden Huckabee looks for some space on the edge in a 35-12 victory over Abbeville Christian.

Abbeville Christian came into Linden Athletic Field undefeated, but left town with a 35-12 first loss of the season on senior night for Hayden Huckabee and the Marengo Academy Longhorns.

MA moves to 7-1 on the season while the Generals fall to 8-1 overall.

The senior night contest represented the last regular season home game, but the Longhorns are guaranteed home field advantage through the playoffs. However, that didn’t detract from the emotion.
